Mashnouq signs minutes of negotiations over World Bank loan to combat pollution

NNA - Minister of Environment Mohammad Al-Mashnouq and the Task Team Leader of the World Bank signed on Wednesday the minutes of the negotiations over the World Bank loan to implement the private investment project to combat environmental pollution in Lebanon.

In his daily activity, the Minister of Environment met with former president of the Industrialists Association Nehmat Afram and Head of the Union of Kesserwan - Ftouh Municipalities Nuhad Nawfal and discussed with them methods of waste treatment.

Mashnouq also met with the Swiss Ambassador to Lebanon, Ruth Flint, with talks touching on relations between the two countries and the implications of the issue of displacement of Syrians on the situation in Lebanon.

Ambassador Flint pointed at Environmental Affairs, and in particular the issue of hunting and the importance of preserving the birds.
