AG King Announces Foreclosure Prevention Event

SANTA FE, N.M., May 27 -- The New Mexico Attorney General issued the following news release:

Attorney General King says Santa Fe homeowners, who have their mortgage with Wells Fargo Bank, can receive free help if they are facing mortgage payment problems.

"Our Keep Your Home New Mexico program partners are teaming up with Wells FargoSaturday, June 7th, in Santa Fe to assist the bank's customers who may be facing foreclosure," says AG King. "Homeowners can meet face-to-face with bank representatives, connect with housing counselors, and learn if they qualify for a federal loan modification program."

The event is being held at the DoubleTree by Santa Fe, 4048 Cerrillos Road, from 9am to 3pm. Wells Fargo mortgage customers who want to attend should register by Thursday, June 5, 2014. Walk-ins are welcome but registration is recommended. To register or for more information,
