QInvest sees exciting growth opportunities in Islamic finance sector in Turkey and will participate in 9th Turkish-Arab Economic Forum in Istanbul on 28 and 29 May

QInvest sees Turkey as being a key driver is Islamic finance growth worldwide and will be exploring the opportunity at the 9th Turkish-Arab Economic Forum, taking place in Istanbul on 28th and 29th May 2014.  QInvest's Turkey Country Head, Can Guclu, will be a panellist at the Forum.

Can Guclu, QInvest's Turkey Country Head and panellist at the Forum, said, "QInvest is proud to have a strong track record in being involved with Islamic Finance in Turkey. The Forum will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel, Bosphorus, Istanbul and gathers prime ministers, Turkish and Arab ministers, prominent business people and investment and finance leaders to discuss the macroeconomic developments and major investment opportunities in the two regions.

QInvest has an office in Istanbul and offers cross-border services to clients from its presence in Qatar, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. The bank has been involved in a number of high profile Sukuk issuances in Turkey, including its recent role as joint lead manager for Turkiye Finans's $500 million Sukuk and the $1.25 billion Turkish sovereign Sukuk.
