Music Concert Rocks RAC

On Sunday, Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) organized a music concert for the encouragement of students of its music class. A large number of people were enthralled by performances of professional and amateur singers. Naheed Manzoor flanked by Waqar Ahmed, Resident Director RAC was the guest of honour at the occasion.

She said on the occasion, that the music concert, featuring songs of various forms of music, classical, semi-classical, folk and pop is a treat for music lovers of the region. She said adhering to its old tradition; the RAC has given equal opportunity to students of its music class to perform in front of the public so that they can get confidence and encouragement.

Waqar Ahmed Director Resident RAC said that RAC is the hub of cultural activities in the region and playing constructive role in the promotion of art and culture. He said amateur singers have given wonderful performance.

The singers who performed at the music concert include: Quratul Ain, Laraib, Sadia, Haleema, Rameez, Chan Shahzad, Rizwan, Samel Frances, Bina Jamshed, Tasawwur, Tariq and Nomi.
