Dinner will benefit longtime secretary
A fundraiser dinner for longtime Camarillo High School secretary Virginia Meyerson is scheduled for 5-7:30 p.m. Thursday in the cafeteria at the school, 4660 Mission Oaks Blvd.
Meyerson suffered a debilitating stroke in May 2013 and the dinner will support her medical care.
Presale tickets cost $10 through May 27. It's $15 at the door. Checks and donations can be made payable to Friends of the Meyerson Family. Milano's Restaurant will provide catering.

Trip available to Laguna Beach
Friends of the Camarillo Library will take a trip to Laguna Beach from July 17-18 for Pageant of the Masters.
Price will include a main-tier ticket to the pageant, one night accommodation at Dana Point Marina Inn, admission to San Juan Capistrano Mission, breakfast and one lunch.

Exhibit to focus on WWII moms
The Wing Aviation Museum at Camarillo Airport, 455 Aviation Drive, will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday.

Ceremony will honor military veterans
There will be a Memorial Day Ceremony conducted by the Mercer-Prieto Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2043 of Santa Paula and the Korean War Veterans Association Chapter 56 of Ventura County.
The ceremony will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Santa Paula Pierce Brothers Cemetery, 380 Cemetery Road. A musical prelude will take place from 10:15-10:30 a.m.
