Ethiopia : SEVENTH Boeing 787 Dream Liner received by Ethiopian

The Ethiopian Airlines gained its 7th Boeing 787 Dream liner named 'Ibex' among which it had ordered to the Boeing company.

The airline declared that it would gain 3 more dream liners till the end of 2014.

Ethiopian Airlines CEO Tewolde Gebremariam said, "As Africa's flagship carrier, Ethiopian has always been and remains aviation technology leader in the continent by availing the most advanced aircraft to its esteemed customers .

Ethiopian re-invested its 110 Million USD 2012/2013 profits on its fleet.

It in addition took loan of 500 million USD from China to purchase aircraft from Boeing.

In August 2012, Ethiopian was the first company after Japan Airlines to receive a Boeing 787.

The Boeing 787 Dream liner is one of the technologically advanced aircrafts in the world.
