Since Commercial Bank's announcement of a five-year exclusive partnership with Manchester United, customers have been taking advantage of the unique products and experiences on offer for football fans.
Over the course of this year's English Premier League season, a total of nearly 400 customers have won prizes by using Commercial Bank'sManchester United products and services, including Current Accounts, Savings Accounts, Debit and Credit Cards. The first 200 new Commercial Bank Manchester United Credit Card customers were invited to attend a special fan event in Doha hosted by Commercial Bank and attended by Manchester United legend Denis Irwin. During the event, fans watched a live screening of a Manchester United game and were able to get up close and personal with one of Manchester United's greatest players.
Forty customers won a once in a lifetime VIP trip to watch Manchester United play at Old Trafford by entering into a prize draw using their Commercial Bank Manchester United Credit Cards. The fans were treated to an all-expenses-paid VIP trip to Manchester, including visits to the Manchester United Museum, watching the players in action at the Aon Training Complex and tickets to Old Trafford to see Manchester United play Premier League opposition.
Over 150 kids aged 7 to 16 took part in a Manchester United-run soccer camp held for the first time in Doha, with Manchester United Soccer Schools Coaches being specially flown in from the United Kingdom to provide the training. Places on the camp were won by parents using their Manchester United Credit Cards and the aspiring young footballers learnt techniques related to Manchester United first team players and how to train their bodies for the demands of the game.
