Curators Max Marshall and Paul Paper selected two groups of 100 photographers who were then randomly paired and given the task of selecting one image from each other's online portfolio. Exhibited in tandem, the paired photographs cleverly probe the way images are so rapidly circulated in social media culture, raising questions about authenticity, context and crediting online.

Austin Center for Photography presents this program, and the exhibit is ACP's second to final event; the nonprofit organization announced earlier this spring that it would cease operations later this summer.
