Ethiopia : ETHIOPIAN airlines gets new dreamliner

Ethiopian Airlines took delivery of its seventh B787 Dreamliner as it forges ahead with its expansion strategy. The growing airliner Ethiopian anticipates to get three more B787s in 2014, it said in a statement on 21 May 2014.

Ethiopian Airlines CEO Tewolde Gebremariam said, "As Africa's flagship carrier, Ethiopian has always been and remains aviation technology leader in the continent by availing the most advanced aircraft to its esteemed customers.

Gebremariam said Ethiopia's national carrier, which serves 80 global destinations across five continents, has the youngest fleet in Africa with an average age of seven years.

He said, "In line with our 15 year strategic roadmap of fast, profitable and sustainable growth, Vision 2025, we will continue to expand and modernize our fleet in order to continue to provide maximum comfort to our customers.
