Thursday's ETF with Unusual Volume: FTA

The First Trust Large Cap Value AlphaDEX Fund ETF (FTA) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 864,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 107,000. Shares of FTA were up about 0.4% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Bank of America (BAC), trading up about 0.4% with over 24.8 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Best Buy (BBY), up about 1.2% on volume of over 19.4 million shares. Netapp (NTAP) is the component faring the best Thursday, higher by about 3.9% on the day, while Target (TGT) is lagging other components of the First Trust Large Cap Value AlphaDEX Fund ETF, trading lower by about 2.5%.
