May 22, 2014

Toledo, Spain, May 22 (EFE).- For Spain's Crown Prince Felipe and wife Letizia the past 10 years since they were married have been "very short," the heir to the throne told reporters before the couple's visit to the exposition on El Greco at Toledo'sSanta Cruz Museum.

The prince and princess devoted part of their 10th anniversary to visiting the exhibit, where awaiting them were numerous journalists, locals and tourists who received the couple with applause and shouts of congratulation.

Many of the people awaiting their arrival behind the security cordon were even able to shake hands with the royal couple.

On a day without any official public activities on their agenda, the Royal Palace early in the day released two images of the couple via their recently-activated Twitter account.

Felipe and Letizia appear in one of the photos posted on Twitter with their two daughters, Leonor and Sofia, whom they accompanied to school on Thursday. EFE
