Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking declared that it has extended a partnership agreement with Made in the Midlands, a manufacturing sector.
Made in the Midlands presents over 250 firms, consisting of some of the largest employers in the sector, with combined regional manufacturing and engineering revenues of more than £3bn. In 2013, Lloyds developed its partnership with the group. The manufacturing sector group is committed to support and boost managing directors and chief executives of manufacturing and engineering firms in the region.
Dave Atkinson, head of SME manufacturing at Lloyds, will be lead the initiative with the support of Andy Moss, senior manager of SME banking in the Midlands. Atkinson commented "Made in the Midlands provides essential support to the region's manufacturing and engineering community, championing the vital part it plays in the economy, and is a strong voice for these businesses on a national level."
"This partnership further demonstrates our commitment to back the growth aspirations of manufacturers in the Midlands and across the country," Atkinson added.
Charles Addison, Made in the Midlands director, stated: "We are delighted to continue our relationship with Lloyds Bank, we believe that their offer for manufacturers is excellent and they have built a good rapport with our members. Working with such a passionate and proactive team, dedicated to supporting the sector is beneficial right across our organisation."
