IAAPA Announces Hong Kong as Site of Asian Attractions Expo 2015

ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 20 -- The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions issued the following news release:

Today, the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) announced Asian Attractions Expo 2015 will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre16-19 June, 2015. Asian Attractions Expo is the region's premier conference and trade show for the attractions industry and organizers expect more than 5,500 professionals to participate in the 2015 event.

"Hong Kong is a major hub of the attractions industry in Asia and provides an ideal venue for our show in the region," said IAAPA President and CEO Paul Noland. "IAAPA is looking forward to providing another can't-miss opportunity for our exhibitors and attendees in 2015 at one of the world's most interesting and exciting cities."

Since 1997, Asian Attractions Expo has been the leading international event in the Asia-Pacific region for the multibillion-dollar leisure and attractions industry. Professionals from more than 60 countries are expected to participate in the 2015 Expo.

The trade show floor will showcase products and services in more than 100 categories developed by more than 250 companies from around the world.

Innovations in amusement and theme park rides, architectural and design services, coin-operated games, skill games, redemption prizes, and more will all be on display. Hong Kong Features World-Renowned Attractions and Business-Friendly Atmosphere

Located on Victoria Harbour, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) opened in November 1988 and helped Hong Kong establish its position as a world-class international convention and meeting destination. The HKCEC offers 66,000 square meters (710,418 square feet) of exhibit space in six halls, 52 meeting rooms, and seven restaurants.
