CompanionDx Reference Lab and Enable Healthcare Inc. Announce Partnership to Deliver Pharmacogenomics Testing to Physician Practices

May 30, 2014

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Drug Week -- CompanionDx Reference Lab, a high-complexity CLIA certified laboratory specializing in pharmacogenomics, cancer companion diagnostics, targeted NGS and epigenomics testing, announced that it has partnered with Enable Healthcare Incorporated (EHI), a leading Health Information Technology Solution and Services Provider. The strategic partnership provides EHI's network of physician practices access to CompanionDx's pharmacogenomics testing (see also CompanionDx).

The CompanionDx and EHI partnership delivers a qualified and reliable pharmacogenomics laboratory partner to EHI's physician practices. Results and reports from the testing will benefit the network of physicians in many ways including, recommendation on how to optimize patient therapy, assistance and aid in the approval of medications requiring prior authorizations (where medical necessity is demonstrated based on genetics), identification of poor and ultra-rapid metabolizers for optimizing future therapy to name a few.

"We are pleased to partner with EHI to make pharmacogenomics testing available to their physician network for improved patient outcomes," said David Lasecki, President of CompanionDx. "The integrated system we utilize allows us to deliver testing results and reports directly to the Electronic Medical Records (EMR). The physician can then use this actionable information to optimize patient therapy and reduce adverse drug events."
