Talmage, LLC announced today the hiring of Jin Kim as Managing Director.
Mr. Kim is responsible for underwriting new investments and the
origination of new business initiatives and special servicing
Edward L. Shugrue III, Chief Executive Officer of Talmage and Grant G.
Rogers, Chief Operating Officer and Mr. Kim have had a long-standing
relationship while Jin was at Goldman Sachs.

Mr. Kim brings nearly 15 years of industry experience. A graduate of
Yale Law School, Mr. Kim has had an extensive career in both law and
business. Most recently at Goldman Sachs, he was the global head of
warehouse lending, in charge of originating and risk managing portfolios
of structured loans, where he originated over $10 billion of
commitments. Prior to this role, Mr. Kim managed Goldman Sachs’ $15
billion commercial real estate debt portfolio and was responsible for
acquiring commercial real estate debt in the secondary markets.
Previously, he was an attorney with O’Melveny & Myers LLP.
Talmage is an active investor in, and advisor/special servicer on, large
and complex commercial real estate transactions. Since 2003, Talmage has
made in excess of $10 billion of commercial real estate fixed income
investments, and acted as the special servicer/advisor on over $40
billion of complex loan restructurings and modifications. Talmage is
