Ghana Govt Hails First Banking Digital Centre

ECOBANK has commissioned the country's first banking digital centre in Accra with the aim of provide a 24-hour banking service to its clients.

Ghana's Vice President, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, has commissioned the centre with a call on banks to replicate the technology to make banking more convenient and accessible to all.

Describing the bank and its facilities as impressive, Amissah-Arthur therefore commended the board, management and staff on the feat attained.

"25 years of existence of the bank is an indication of pursuit of the founding fathers to bring banking to the people within the Pan African agenda," he said.

Amissah-Arthur was hopeful that the bank would deliver to the people and extend the digital services to areas as Adenta, Ashongman and Kasoa.

The Ecobank Digital Centre is located in the Labone Estates in the capital city.
