Courses under way at arts venue

May 2, 2014

A WILDLIFE photography exhibition has opened at Bridge Centre for Visual Arts in Darlington.

The exhibition showcases the work of photographers who have taken part in the venue's Openarts sessions, which cover a variety of media throughout the year.

The next series of courses is under way, with beginners and more experienced artists being given the opportunity to learn more about techniques including ceramics, watercolours, jewellery and life- drawing.

Most courses run for ten weeks and although the term started this week, places may be available.

Ten-week courses for families, children and young people led by Openart Studio also start tomorrow, from 10am to 2pm.

Activities will include mosaics, jewellery-making, paint and ceramics, with pre-booking essential.

Booking is also open for Summer Saturday workshops.
