ITRenew Names Daniel Niclas as VP of Products and Services

ITRenew, a company focused on enterprise IT asset disposition (ITAD) services and data sanitization software, said that Daniel Niclas has joined the company as vice president of products and services.

In his new role, Dr. Niclas will be responsible for engineering, development and quality for the Teraware enterprise-grade, secure data sanitization and asset management product line.

In a release, ITRenew said that Dr. Niclas joins the Company from Symantec where he served as director of corporate strategy and led several emerging technology product teams and global strategic corporate initiatives, including the joint venture between Symantec and Huawei Technologies. Dr. Niclas has extensive experience commercializing novel technologies, driving innovative engines and leading primary technical research within enterprise organizations, small businesses and the academic setting. Prior to Symantec, he held product management and engineering program management roles at VERITAS Software. He also was an Application Engineer developing high-throughput laboratory automation solutions for drug discovery experimentation, and served as Assistant Professor of Biochemistry at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida.
