May 18, 2014

American News, Aberdeen, S.D.

May 18--Aberdeen artist and photographer Paula Guhin is having a charity auction of five of her photographs to raise money for the North East South Dakota Spay and Neuter Coalition.

The auction runs from June 2 to June 23. People may bid on the photos at Digital Photo Inc., 319 S. Main St.

The money raised will help disadvantaged people care for their pets properly. The framed and matted artworks are from Guhin's Rust & Relics series.

"I donated these works for a good cause, and I hope the animal lovers out there will support it," Guhin says in a news release. "It's not only a silent auction, but blind as well. Bidders won't know what others have submitted or bid on."

Store hours are 9:30 to 5:30 Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
