New Zealand : HARM to protect computers

A University of Canterbury cyber security research group is developing a novel model and method, te first such one in New Zealand, for protecting computer systems.

The Canterbury computer science and software engineering research group has created a scalabe and adaptable security model and method, called Hierarchical Attack Representation Models (HARM).

The security model and method assesses the security of large networked systems and cloud computing systems.

Canterbury research Dr Dong-Seong Kim unveiled HARM to cyber security experts at Sorrento, Italy, earlier in 2014.
