Dollar Mixed Ahead Of US Consumer Sentiment Index

BRUSSELS (Alliance News) - The Reuters/University of Michigan's preliminary consumer sentiment index for May is set for release at 9:55 am ET Friday. Before the data, the greenback showed mixed trading against other major currencies. While the greenback held steady against the yen, it fell against the rest of major currencies

The greenback was worth 1.3714 against the euro, 0.8907 against the franc, 1.6829 against the pound and 101.58 against the yen as of 9:50 am ET.
