China Jan-Apr Tax Revenue Up 9.6%

BEIJING, May 16, SinoCast -- China's tax revenue (deducting export rebates) hit CNY 3.5946 trillion in the first four months of 2014, growing 9.6% over a year earlier, and export rebates hit CNY 367.3 billion, growing 7.9%, according to the State Administration of Taxation.

In the first four months of this year, tax paid by manufacturing and real estate grew 7.9% and 12.3% and contributed 43.2% to total tax growth.

Real estate business tax and personal income tax from housing sale grew 6.7% and dropped 26.5%, respectively, significantly lower than the same period of last year.
