United Kingdom : BANK of SCOTLAND obtained a judgement against two Wexford businessmen, worth 18m

Bank of Scotland announced that it has received a judgment in the Commercial Court, at a value of 18m in opposition to two Co Wexford businessmen over unpaid loans.

When the bank's proceedings came, there was no one present on behalf of Declan Devereux, Grange, Broadway, and William Devereux, Walshestown, Piercestown, whereas Mr Justice Peter Kelly stated that he was contented with the procedings had been served on both men.

For such conditions, the judge stated that, he would get into judgment for 17,951,208 against each of the men.

One of the facilities also related to loans provided to Devereux Enterprises Ltd.
