Description: Department of Homeland Security

Office of the Chief Procurement Officer

Office of Procurement Operations

Reference the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Request for Information (RFI), HSHQDC-13-ECS-RFI, issued 30 Sep 2013, wherein DHS requested information from industry to assist the Government with determining whether the objectives associated with developing its Enterprise Computing Services (ECS) initiative are feasible and realistic given current industry capabilities. Ninety-two (92) submissions were received and reviewed by the ECS Program Office. As previously announced, DHS expects to pursue the ECS IV&V Support Services requirement under the Department's EAGLE II contract Functional Category 3, small business track. This will be the first ECS effort awarded. DHS intends to host a follow-up Industry Day to provide an update on the ECS initiative. Details regarding the date, location, and timing of the event will be posted to FedBizOpps within the next 30-45 days. DHS thanks all that responded to the subject RFI, participated in the ECS Industry Day, and the resultant One-on-One meetings. The submissions were very informative, and we appreciate the time taken to provide the feedback.
