Holloway Lodging Corp. announces results of annual meeting

HALIFAX, May 14, 2014  /CNW/ - Holloway Lodging Corporation (TSX: HLC) ("Holloway") today announced the election results from its 2014 annual general meeting of shareholders held on May 13, 2014. The following seven individuals were elected as directors of Holloway to serve until the next annual meeting of shareholders or until their successors are elected or appointed:

Richard Grimaldi

Dustin Haw

Neil Labatte

Blake Lyon

Michael Rapps

Marc Staniloff

David Wood

Neil Labatte and Blake Lyon are new directors of Holloway.

Mr. Labatte is currently President and CEO of Talon International Inc., the developer of the Trump International Hotel in Toronto, Ontario, and Global Dimension Capital, Inc., a real estate advisory firm. Previously, Mr. Labatte was President, CEO and a trustee of Legacy Hotels REIT. Mr. Labatte is currently a trustee of Healthlease Properties REIT.

Mr. Lyon is an independent financial consultant who advises and manages real estate and private equity investments. Previously, Mr. Lyon was President and CEO of Werklund Capital Corporation and also held various roles of increasing responsibility at Brookfield Asset Management, including as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
