Chinese investments to Kazakhstan's economy make up over $20 bln Q1 2014

Investments coming from China to Kazakhstan in the first quarter of 2014 were more than $20 billion, said First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev speaking during the media briefing of the Central Communications Service.

The bilateral trade in 2013 amounted to $22.5 billion, exports - $14.3 billion, imports - $8 billion. In January-February of this year trade turnover amounted to $3.56 billion, the First Deputy PM noted.

On May 19-21, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev will visit China to take part in the 4th CICA Summit. Nazarbayev will hold a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping and sign bilateral documents.
