TriZetto Corporation and Enkata Partner to Help Claims Operations Improve Process Quality and Productivity

May 12, 2014

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- TriZetto Corporation today announced a partnership with Enkata to offer Enkata’s SaaS claims processor management platform to TriZetto’s Consulting Optimization Services clients.

Enkata’s platform supports TriZetto’s Consulting Optimization Services with insight into time tracking the activities and productivity of manual claims processors. TriZetto’s Optimization Services help payers better capitalize on the business value of their applications by finding improvements in process, technology configuration and overall business and outcomes. Together, TriZetto and Enkata help claims operations increase productivity and quality targets.

“TriZetto Optimization Services provides health plans with consulting services to drive measurable improvements throughout their operations. These services use continuous improvement principles, industry insight and TriZetto’s proprietary benchmark program to expedite and sustain high-level business performance,” said Danny Ezrol, vice president and general manager, Consulting Services for TriZetto. “Enkata aligns with various phases of the Optimization Services methodology, providing a quantifiable measurement of overall claims processing efficiency, which TriZetto can then couple with an actionable plan to operationalize performance improvements for our clients.”

"TriZetto is the recognized leader in solutions for healthcare payer operations,” said David Stamm, president and chief executive officer of Enkata. “TriZetto and Enkata have aligned to help payers become more efficient and effective in their claims operations. Enkata’s analytics complements TriZetto’s benchmarking program, and their continuous improvement methodology dovetails with the automated improvements built into the Enkata Action Center.”

Both TriZetto and Enkata have found that most claims operations have the potential to reduce errors, increase productivity and substantially lower the cost of processing claims. Enkata’s solution, when combined with TriZetto Optimization Services, provides visibility into the claims adjudication process. This in turn allows TriZetto to provide benchmarking and continuous improvement principles to claims processing, which have traditionally been difficult to measure and improve.
