Sen. Warren Introduces Bill to Provide for Refinancing of Certain Federal Student Loans

WASHINGTON, May 9 -- Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., has introduced legislation (S. 2292) to "amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to provide for the refinancing of certain Federal student loans."

The bill was introduced on May 6 and has 26 co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Barbara A. Boxer, D-Calif., Patty Murray, D-Wash., Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill., Jack Reed, D-R.I., Mary C.
