Legendary Hamilton punk band Teenage Head will bring their electric stage presence to Canadian Music Week with a performance on Thursday, May 8 at Toronto's The Great Hall.

During Toronto's fight for recognition as a punk rock market in the 1970s, Teenage Head assured themselves a place in history with their over-the-top stage presence and musical abilities and became true punk rock pioneers. Thirty years later, Teenage Head is still kicking. Full details of the CMW performance can be found below:

Teenage Head introduced a no compromise, no deal mindset to a somewhat stable and safe Canadian music scene and wrote the book on the Canadian DIY approach. They introduced fashion, finesse, style, and musical diversity while turning the stage into their own personal galaxy.

Author and journalist Geoff Pevere chronicles the band's plethora of important record releases and thousands of stage performances in his new book, Gods of the Hammer: The Teenage Head Story. The special event will double as a celebration of the book's recent release.

Joining Teenage Head on stage May 8th will be special guests Cheetah Chrome, Ivan Doroschuk, John Kastner, Ian Blurton, Steev Saint, Mickey Skin, Cafeine and Steve Stumble.
