May 01--STOCKTON -- Congressman Jerry McNerney announced today that the deadline for Congressional Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Student App Challenge has been extended to May 31.
McNerney visited Edison High School in February to promote the contest soliciting local students to build and submit smartphone and tablet applications into the contest. The winning app from McNerney's 9th District will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol and featured on the congressman's website.
