Euro Weakens After German CPI

BRUSSELS (Alliance News) - At 8:00 am ET Tuesday, German preliminary consumer price inflation for April was released. After the data, the euro dropped against other major currencies.

The euro was worth 1.3841 against the greenback, 1.2197 against the franc, 0.8233 against the pound and 142.18 against the yen around 8:02 am ET.
