The Phoenix Companies, Inc. (NYSE:PNX) today announced that Diana
Piquette has joined the company as second vice president, GAAP
Accounting & Assistant Controller. Ms. Piquette reports to Douglas
Miller, senior vice president and chief accounting officer, and will be
responsible for leading financial reporting activities including SEC
filings and internal GAAP-based management reporting and analysis.
Ms. Piquette was previously an audit manager at Deloitte & Touche,
focused on life insurance accounts.
“Diana is deeply knowledgeable in both the life insurance and annuity
businesses and will be a great asset to Phoenix,” said Mr. Miller.
Ms. Piquette has both a master’s and bachelor’s degree in accounting
from the University of Connecticut and is a Certified Public Accountant.
