SCANA CORP FILES (8-K/A) Disclosing Change in Directors or Principal Officers

On October 10, 2013, the Board of Directors (the "Board") of SCANA Corporation ("SCANA") approved an increase in the size of the Board from nine to eleven members and elected the following individuals to serve in the newly created seats until the next annual meeting of shareholders, at which time the Board intends to propose each for election by the shareholders: • Mr. Alfredo "Al" Trujillo, President and Chief Operating Officer of The

Georgia Tech Foundation, Inc., of Atlanta, Georgia. • Mr. John "Jack" F.A.V. Cecil, President of Biltmore Farms, LLC., of Asheville, North Carolina.

Mr. Trujillo and Mr. Cecil will participate in the compensation arrangements for non-employee directors as described in the "Director Compensation" section of SCANA's proxy statement for its 2013 annual meeting of shareholders which was filed on March 25, 2013, except that retainer fees for 2013 will be prorated to represent one calendar quarter of Board service. Mr. Trujillo has been assigned to serve on the Board's Nuclear Oversight Committee and Nominating and Governance Committee. Mr. Cecil has been assigned to serve on the Board's Audit Committee and Nominating and Governance Committee.
