French Investments in Angola Represent One Billion Kwanzas

April 28, 2014

The French investments in Angola represent one billion Kwanzas, reported on Friday in Paris (France), the Angolan financial economist, Felicio Manu.

The expert said so to the press in Paris under the preparation of the official visit to be paid by the Angolan President, JosÉ Eduardo dos Santos, to France.

The economist based his opinion on the transactions held by the French oil company of TOTAL estimated at 95% and the other five per cent are shared by companies of telecommunications "Alcatel" and the Bouloren port services.

"The commercial interchange between France and Angola is still very low. The European country represents about 6.3% of the Angolan global market. It is essential an interchange carried in the sector of oil and its by-products", he said.

He said that Angola is an extraordinary opportunity for the French companies out of the oil domain, especially in the field of agro-food, transports and services.
