Atea, the number one supplier of IT infrastructure products and services in the Nordic and Baltic region, reports improved revenue and earnings in the first quarter of 2014. In the first quarter of 2014, Atea reported revenue of NOK 5,884 million, corresponding to growth of 15.7% compared with the first quarter of 2013. Hardware revenue increased by 14.5%, services revenue increased by 13.1%, and software revenue was up by an impressive 21.7%. "I am especially pleased to see growth of 18.6% in contracted services. EBITDA in the first quarter of 2014 ended at NOK 180 million, up from NOK 140 million in the first quarter of 2013. The EBITDA result corresponds to an EBITDA margin of 3.1% for the quarter, up from 2.8% last year. "I am very pleased to see EBITDA growth of 28%. The impressive EBITDA improvement has been achieved through a combination of revenue growth and positive effects on operational costs from our operational efficiency programme," says SØnsteby. The cash flow from operations improved NOK 83 million from last year due to increased cash earnings and working capital improvements. Atea will continue to invest in customer relevance.
