Anti-War posters on show to remember victims of chemical weapons

TEHRAN, April 27 (MNA) An exhibition of anti-war posters will be on show in Tehran'sMuseum of Peace on April, 29th, the International Day of Remembrance for all Victims of Chemical Warfare. An exhibition of ant-war posters will be held on Tuesday in Tehran and Iranian artist's Behnaz Nikkhah works will be on show at Tehran Peace Museum from April 29th to May 7th. It is an annual event held on April 29 as a tribute to the victims of chemical warfare, as well as to reaffirm the commitment of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) to the elimination of the threat of chemical weapons, thereby promoting the goals of peace, security, and multilateralism. It is officially recognized by the United Nations (UN) and has been celebrated since 2005. The United Nations (UN) officially observes the Day of Remembrance for all Victims of Chemical Warfare on April 29 each year and the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon gives a speech at the occasion.
