When SuperChoice, a provider of superannuation clearing house services, rollovers and online contribution processing systems in Australia, needed to build a clearance and payment gateway to comply with the Australian Tax Office's (ATO) superannuation program, SuperStream, the Ccmpany said it chose Axway.
Axway is a company focusing on governing the flow of data, to develop a B2B platform capable of addressing all their information interactions and integrations, essential to supporting customers and partners.
In a release, Axway said the B2Bi Gateway, a core component of the Axway 5 Suite, supports high volume SuperStream message management for straight-through processing of fund rollovers and contributions. Axway B2Bi is Drummond Group certified to enable compliance with the new SuperStream data standards' regulations, which require funds to exchange information electronically in "industry-standard" formats (ebMS/AS4).
Axway B2Bi integrates all the organizations impacted by SuperStream, regardless of the complexity or volume of B2B transactions, including employers; clearing houses; fund administrators; and government agencies. In addition, employers may also use Axway B2Bi as their consolidated gateway to integrate their core business partners - for example, suppliers, customers and logistics partners.
Ian Gibson, CIO for SuperChoice, said, "The Axway B2Bi solution provides out-of-the box support for a wide range of SuperStream relevant communication protocols including ebMS v3/AS4 and for any- to-any transformation of a wide range of document formats. Using the Axway 5 Suite, we can consolidate all our disparate point-to-point connections into one platform, both simplifying and improving operations management while reducing the cost to manage customers. With Axway as our SuperStream partner, we can focus on our core mission to completely automate superannuation and pension transactions, confident in the knowledge that Axway is focused on the information exchange platform and standards compliance as they evolve," added Gibson.
Eric Chevrier, EVP, Sales and Operations, Growth Markets, Axway, said, "We are delighted to be assisting SuperChoice to deliver superannuation services in compliance with the rollover and high volume contribution phases of the new SuperStream regulations. Axway is proud to deliver and enable the secure, reliable and high- availability 24/7, always-on infrastructure essential for the funds and clearing houses to deliver and maintain trust in the Australian superannuation system."
Axway is registered in France with headquarters in the United States and offices in 18 countries.
