ITEM 2.01 COMPLETION OF ACQUISITION OR DISPOSITION OF ASSETS On December 4, 2013 , KBS Real Estate Investment Trust III, Inc. (the "Company") filed a Current Report on Form 8-K dated December 3, 2013 with regard to the acquisition, through an indirect wholly owned subsidiary, of an office building containing 246,563 rentable square feet located in San Francisco, California (" 201 Spear Street "). The Company hereby amends the Form 8-K dated December 3, 2013 to provide the required financial information related to its acquisition of 201 Spear Street .
