The £150m redevelopment of in Edinburgh’s Old Town was given the go-ahead this week following revisions to reduce its height and improve views of the area’s historic buildings. Artisan Real Estate Investors’ scheme will include around 178,000 sq ft of grade-A offices, 185 homes, 28 shops and two hotels. Work on the first phase is expected to begin in the summer. GVA advised on planning; Jones Lang LaSalle and Montagu Evans are letting agents.
