Not So Big: The First Step in Sustainability Lecture Tonight

RALEIGH, N.C., Feb. 27 -- Meredith College issued the following news release:

Architect Sarah Susanka, author of The Not So Big House, will speak at Meredith College on Thursday, February 27 at 7 p.m. in Jones Chapel.

Sarah Susanka's "Not So Big" message has become a launch pad for a new dimension of understanding - not just about how we inhabit our homes, but also about how we inhabit our planet and even our day-to-day lives. As a cultural visionary with an incredible ability to understand the underlying structure of the American lifestyle, Susanka is providing the language and tools that are redefining how we live.

Susanka is the acclaimed author of nine best-selling books including The Not So Big House, The Not So Big Life, Not So Big Remodeling, and most recently, More Not So Big Solutions for Your Home. Her books have sold well over 1.2 million copies.

Susanka's lecture is free and open to the public. A book signing will follow the lecture. The event is sponsored by the Meredith College Interior Design program, with the support of Kenan Funds.
