Qatar Stock Exchange Down 0.57%

Doha, February 27 (QNA) - The Qatar Exchange ended in the red area when trading closed Thursday at 11,771.83 points (0.57%) down 67.63 points from the previous closing of 11,839.46 points on Wednesday.

The volume of shares was fell to 15,455,467 from Wednesday 18,671,682 and the value of shares decreased to QR797,583,771.65 from QR1,086,264,419.61 on Wednesday.

Among the top losers were Qatar Islamic Bank whose share down 1.56% to QR75.70, Qatar Insurance lost 3.56% to QR65.10, Electricity and Water fell 1.36% to QR174.00 and Vodafone Qatar decreased by 0.66% to QR12.12.

The Banking and Financial sector index was added 0.30% points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index gained 2.00 points. The industrial sector was dropped 0.07 points while insurance sector fell 2.76% points.(QNA)
