       Riyadh, Feb 25 (ONA) --- The Sultanate today took part in the 2nd Arab Development and Employment Forum, being held at Riyadh under the theme "Towards Social Protection & Sustainable Development". The event is organized by the Arab Labour Organization (ALO) and the World Bank, in conjunction with the Ministry of Labour in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).     The Sultanate's delegation taking part in the forum is led by Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser al-Bakri, Minister of Manpower.     The delegation comprises a number of officials representing government agencies and representatives of businessmen and workers.     The forum discussed jobseekers issue and means of providing social protection, as well as mechanisms of social dialogue.     On the sidelines of the forum, Sheikh al-Bakri chaired the First Labour Group that discusses avenues of employment and lasts for two days. A number of working papers were presented today dealing with policies and mechanisms of supporting employment and challenges of reforming labour markets in the Arab countries among others.--- Ends/KH
