Japan's key bond yield stays flat at 0.585% in morning

TOKYO, Feb. 27 -- (Kyodo) _ The yield on the benchmark 10-year Japanese government bond ended Thursday morning flat after erasing its early decline prompted by Tokyo shares' losses.

The yield on the No. 332, 0.6 percent issue, the main yardstick of long-term interest rates, ended morning interdealer trading at 0.585 percent, unchanged from Wednesday's close.

The price of the March futures contract for 10-year bonds was flat at 145.18 on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
