Dappy beats tax cash rap

RAPPER Dappy has drawn a line under a cash dispute with the taxman.

HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) yesterday withdrew a bankruptcy petition against the N-Dubz singer and Celebrity Big Brother contestant at a hearing in the High Court in London.

An official from HMRC told a judge that a tax debt had been paid.

He said after the hearing that Dappy had owed about [pounds]140,000.
