Aspect Software Assigned Patent

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 27 -- Aspect Software, Lombard, Ill., has been assigned a patent (8,660,016) developed by five co-inventors for "testing and monitoring voice over internet protocol (VoIP) service using instrumented test streams to determine the quality, capacity and utilization of the VoIP network." The co-inventors are Ajay Punreddy, Tyngsboro, Mass., Mike Regan, Salem, N.H., Marc A. Snider, Merrimack, N.H., Richard W. Shea, Maynard, Mass., and Brian Silver, North Reading, Mass.

The patent application was filed on Aug. 2, 2007 (11/888,985).
