February 26, 2014

Realsec, a provider of highly secure cryptographic solutions, has announced the company's new Cryptosec Mail Server designed as a complete integrated system for electronic digital signing and encryption/decryption of corporate emails.

In a release, the Company said that the product is being demonstrated at the RSA Conference 2014, through February 27 in San Francisco.

Realsec said that the Cryptosec Mail Server, powered by its Cryptosec PCI Hardware Security Module (HSM), is an ideal device for organizations that must make email authentication and security a priority. Cryptosec Mail achieves maximum levels of transparency and automation for corporate email signature and encryption without changing a thing for email end users.

"As hackers are now turning to email hacking as a method of electronic theft or injecting a number of security viruses or malware, the Cryptosec Mail Server was designed to protect corporate email from these new threats to end user or customer information," said Sebastian Munoz, CEO of Realsec, Inc. "Realsec safeguards encryption for digital signatures and email encryption, protecting messages and attachments in secure and confidential manner using a tamper responsive module that will automatically erase every key in case of a tampering attempt. This ensures that every email and attachment can't be tampered with without the recipient being alerted."

Additionally, Cryptosec Mail Server has additional encryption features that ensure the message and attachments can only be read by the intended recipient. As described by the Company, key capabilities of the Realsec Cryptosec RKL Appliance include:

-Automatic digital signing of all corporate emails to protect against phishing attempts or other identity scams.

-Works with virtually any SMTP server

-Automatically transforms MIME messages into secure S/MIME format

-Hardware protects certificates via a tamper resistant and responsive HSM (FIPS-140-2 Level 3 and Common Criteria EAL4+ certified)

-Email encryption for communication confidentially is available

Realsec develops its own encryption and digital signature solutions for banking and payment providers, government and defense agencies and enterprise organizations.
