Feb. 21---- The Royse City Lions Club will host a "Fund-Raising Recycling Day" Saturday for residents who want to rid their homes of working or non-working items that include computers and LCD monitors, electronics and office equipment.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon in the parking lot on Arch Street, across the street from City Hall.

Other items residents can recycle or donate include sporting goods, non-fiction books, cell phones, power tools, video games, movies and music CDs.

The event will help the club raise funds for community service projects.

The Lions Club is partnering with Bubb Fundraising to conduct the event.

A detailed list shows that recycled or donated computer equipment could include desktops, laptops, servers, LCD monitors, keyboards and speakers.

Cameras could include camcorders and all non-disposable film and digital equipment.

Office equipment on the list of acceptable items include fax machines, typewriters, inkjet cartridges, printers, scanners, routers, shredders and copiers.
