National Assembly Opens Plenary Session

The 5th ordinary plenary meeting of 2nd legislature of National Assembly was opened today by the parliamentary speaker, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos

The session was opened with a minute of silence in memory to the nationalist Agostinho AndrÉ Mendes de Carvalho, occurred on February 13, 2014, victim of illness.

The meeting was attended by the ministers of Finance, Culture, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and by the Governor of National Reserve Bank.

The agenda includes, among other issues, the discussion and voting in generality of the draft law which authorizes the National Reserve Bank to issue and put in circulation coins of Akz 20.00.

The Members of Parliament will also make appreciation of balance report on the execution of the State Budget (OGE), referent to 3rd quarter of 2013, and will proceed the voting process regarding the project resolution.
