Feb. 21--Ruth's Hospitality Group's fourth-quarter profit increased even though sales declined, the Winter Park-based company reported Friday.
Net income was $4.2 million, or 12 cents per share, compared to $3.7 million, or 10 cents a share, the previous year. Restaurant sales decreased 3.6 percent to $105.8 million. The company noted that there was one fewer week in the quarter this year. It also had one fewer Ruth's Chris Steak House in that quarter because one closed earlier in the year.
The company also increased its quarterly dividend 25 percent to 5 cents a share.
