Feb. 21--Enterprise Holdings' car sales unit grew sales through credit unions by 12 percent last year.
Through its credit union partners, Enterprise Car Sales generated 26,000 loans for cars in 2013, totaling a record $435 million, the company said.
Clayton-based Enterprise, the world's largest rental car company, has more than 125 locations for its Enterprise Car Sales unit. The rental car company offers credit union members promotional offers for car sales.
Since it began partnering with credit unions more than 30 years ago, Enterprise Car Sales has helped generate nearly $10 billion in loan volume for more than 1,000 credit unions, according to Enterprise.
